Bach | Mendelssohn
Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy is considered one of the most important pioneers for the renaissance of the works of Johann Sebastian Bach in the 19th century. With a juxtaposition of works by the Bach family and Mendelssohn’s own music, the Bremen Baroque Orchestra addresses the question of what connections existed between the great geniuses and how important J.S. Bach’s really was for the young romantic composer.
